Telehealth/Video Visits
We realize that many of our community members have been concerned with the escalating news of the COVID-19 pandemic and new stay at home orders from the Governor. As such, we would like to update you on what our team is doing to provide a safe environment here in our clinics for our patients and team.
We are now offering telehealth/video visits for those that need to or prefer to stay at home. We want to ensure that you can communicate with your therapist and continue your therapy at home. A telehealth visit will include a full comprehensive visit with your provider in a video chat setting that will allow for demonstration, interaction and progression of care plan. A simple email link will be sent to you and you can access the visit through your computer or smart phone. Using live video for physical therapy services is very effective in treating most conditions!
Many insurance plans are covering telehealth and more are adding the service daily. Current plans covering physical therapy through telehealth include FloridaBlue, United Health Care, Cigna, Tricare and TriWest. We are happy to bill your insurance for you. Most insurers would still require you to pay applicable copays or coinsurance just like you would with a clinic visit. Policies are changing rapidly in response to the virus and we are doing our best to keep updated.
If you would like to self pay, we are offering a discount on services during this coronavirus pandemic of $50/visit. This would be required at time of booking your visit. If you need to cancel, we will fully refund your visit provided you give us 24 hours’ notice by email to your therapist.
